After 27 years I have decided to use my vast experience and knowledge of the industry to start Twenty4seven Services in January 2006.My team have all spent over 20 years in their respective field and will be a major addition to the company.
Bill Barker
Graduate in Business Studies and Institute of Marketing
Bill has 21 years experience in marketing and Advertising.
He started his career working for a local advertising agency on accounts such as Beechams, B&I Ferries, and Mapping & Webb.
Two years later he was headhunted to work at an international advertising agency Bates where he looked after a number of fast moving consumer goods accounts.
The next time he was headhunted Bill moved to an agency that was commonly known as the “University of advertising” J. Walter Thompson (an agency that is part of the largest marketing and communications group in the world: WPP).
During his time there he was promoted the board of directors.
The range of accounts Bill worked on consisted of Kelloggs, Nestle’ Rowntree, Natwest Bank, Debeers, Invensys, Boots retail, and Jaguar cars.
Bill spent 15 years there before helping to set up a media communications agency within WPP called MindShare. In the five years he was there he help to grow the company from billing £300m in advertising revenue to £450m.
Over the last two years Bill as establish a growing marketing and media consultancy focus on delivering clients greater media value and advertising standout.
Bill is now a director of Twenty4Seven Services.
Peter Cusack - Accountant
Peter is a licensed accountancy practitioner in Banbury.
He has spent 20 years working in accountancy, having started his career working in general practise, spent 2 years as company accountant for a pharmaceutical company, after which, he started his own practise. As well as being involved in taxation, company accounts, and legal matters relating thereto.
Peter also gives occasional lectures in business practise and taxation, which has led to some writing– his last work, entitled ‘Tax & Stuff’ was last seen haunting the library of The London Royal Academy of Music – no business like show business, and all that jazz.
